Modelling in South Africa

When I was twenty, I was asked to do some photograph modelling for Ginger Odes who was a leading commercial photographer in Cape Town. One of the adverts I did for him was for a mattress and was titled Sleepability. I still have a copy of the photo and the advert. The bedhead that is behind me was not attached and the assistant had to crouch behind it. His name was Barry Lategan. He became a famous fashion photographer in London. I really enjoyed the work I did in this field but, unfortunately, many of my best photos have been lost.
